Writer Silvia Schujer reads "El señor J. D. C.", from her book "La abuela electrónica y algunos cuentos de su disquete", published by Editorial Sudamericana, 1993. This reading is part of the audiovisual interview done by the Buenos Aires Audiovisual Archive of Writers (March, 2007).
Silvia Schujer was born in Olivos, Buenos Aires Province, on December 28, 1956. She is a Literature, Latin and Spanish teacher.
She works in recording productions; she was editor of the magazine for kids "Cordones sueltos", and manager of the Editorial Sudamericana’s Departamento de Promoción y Difusión.
In 1986, she received the Casa de las Américas Price and, in 1994, she integrated the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY), for her work "Las visitas".
She is author of books for kids and young people. She wrote pieces such as: "Oliverio Juntapreguntas", "Historia de un primer fin de semana", "La abuela electrónica", "350 adivinanzas para jugar", "Videoclips", "La cámara oculta", and "Canciones de cuna para cachorros", with a CD with songs.
