Tribute

Through the Argentinean literature history there have been writers who were popular, and others who have been forgotten but are worthy of recognition because of their work.

This section proposes to rescue those who have left, in one or other way, their mark through their writing.

Julio Cortázar

25 years after his death, w e remember this great writer, author of the novel “Rayuela” and the tale books “Bestiario” and “Final de juego”, among others great works, who passed away on February 12th, 1984, in Paris (France), though a recording from 1982, in which he speaks about writers and literature, and that was broadcasted, the day he died, by ATC (now Canal 7).
To know more about his life and work, you can also enjoy at the Audiovisual Archive a fragment of the long interview done by TVE (Televisión Española, 1977), in which Cortázar reveals details on the creative process of his tales and his writing habits, and delight yourself listening to his voice narrating “Viajes”, a fragment of his book “Historias de Cronopios y de Famas”.
